On June 18, the "Opportunity Lab – Venture Builders" Demo Day was held in Beijing’s Chaoyang district, where 37 young founders from 26 countries pitched their startups after completing a six-week immersive incubation program.
Guided by the Chaoyang District Talent Work Bureau, the program provided international students with policy insights, mentorship, and resource connections, empowering them to launch their businesses in Beijing.
From AI mental health companions to clinical data-sharing platforms, these projects showcased the diverse and practical visions of young global entrepreneurs. Many participants noted that Beijing's open, supportive environment makes it an ideal place for startups and cross-cultural collaboration.
As Wahed Ahmadzai, founder of nHUB, shared, "The international student community in Beijing has tremendous potential to be the bridge between China and the world."
