One world, one dream

For the past 10 years, we have been fulfilling the Chinese Dream, and foreigners in China are also fulfilling theirs.

Ammar Albaadani, 44 years old, from Ibb, Yemen, came to China in the late 1990s. Over the past 20 years, he has studied in China and become a doctor of medicine. He started a business in Yiwu and was rated as one of the first batch of "Top 10 Honest Foreign Businessmen" in Yiwu. In 2017, he returned to his main job as a doctor, and now is the chief doctor of the International Outpatient Department of the Fourth Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College. He also has a happy family and children here. In addition, he is a foreign volunteer in the battle against COVID-19, a volunteer propagandist of epidemic prevention work for foreign friends, a volunteer consultant of psychological counseling, and an Internet celebrity who tells the world true stories of China's epidemic resistance through hundreds of live videos.

My name is Ammar. I come from Yemen. In 1997, I came to China as a student. When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a doctor and coming to China. Now I have fulfilled my dream. At present, I am a doctor in the Fourth Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College. My daily job is to provide medical services for local citizens and foreign friends in Yiwu.
